Group Therapy

Group therapy is similar to individual therapy, but it includes several people and one or two therapists. The therapist chooses people who would benefit from working in a group and who would have a useful influence on the group. Group therapy focuses on interpersonal interactions, so relationship problems are addressed successfully in groups.

The goal of group psychotherapy is to help solve emotional difficulties and encourage the personal development of the participants in the group. This type of therapy is beneficial for gaining insight from others into one’s own life experiences, through participation and observation.
