Monique R. Lowe, PH.D., LP
Dr. Lowe has been working with children, adolescents and families for over 16 years. In addition to her clinical experience, Dr. Lowe has experience in graduate-level teaching and supervision. She also trains other clinicians in cross-cultural competency.
Dr. Lowe’s Areas of Specialty
Dr. Lowe has a special interest in cross-cultural counseling because she believes in recognition of a client’s individuality and honoring a client’s cultural values. She also has an interest in the study of brain-behavior relationships, especially among individuals with attention and executive function problems.
Education & Professional Activities
Dr. Lowe earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, CA. She also holds a master’s degree in marriage, family, child counseling and art therapy from California State University, Sacramento. Dr. Lowe completed her post-doctoral training in neuropsychology from Fielding Graduate University.
