Dr. McAllister specializes in the behavioral healthcare of adults with complex health and mental health problems. He provides psychological assessments and therapies across a wide range of health problems, from self-managing chronic health conditions to the treatment of traditional mental health disorders or both. When appropriate, Dr. McAllister will work as a team with you, your primary care provider, and any related specialist provider.

Dr. McAllister is a published researcher and author of scholarly articles. He is a frequent presenter to state and national audiences on various topics, particularly within the field of chronic pain rehabilitation.

Dr. McAllister holds a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University New England. He also has a Master ‘s degree in philosophy from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Wisconsin.
