Dr. Lowe has been
working with children, adolescents and families for over 16 years. In addition
to her clinical experience, Dr. Lowe has experience in graduate- level teaching
and supervision. She also trains other clinicians in cross-cultural competency.
Dr. Lowe has a special interest in cross-cultural counseling because she
believes in recognition of a client’s individuality and honoring a client’s
cultural values. As well, she has an interest in the study of brain-behavior
relationships, especially among individuals with attention and executive
function problems.
Dr. Lowe earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Pacifica Graduate
Institute in Santa Barbara, CA. She also holds a master’s degree in Marriage,
Family, Child Counseling and Art Therapy from California State University,
Sacramento. Dr. Lowe completed her post-doctoral training in Neuropsychology
from Fielding Graduate University.
