A licensed psychologist and licensed marriage and family therapist, Dr. Hoistad is the senior member of Natalis. His clinical practice includes consultation in mental behavioral health, family practice medicine, pre-surgery psychological evaluations, court consultation, school consultation, social service consultation, as well as teaching and supervision of psychology interns.
Dr. Hoistad believes that working in partnership with his patients to provide care, compassion, and understanding, creates the best outcomes in the services he provides.

Dr. Hoistad is an active staff member at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital, Health East Care System, Red Cedar Medical Center (Mayo Health System), St. Croix Health and Human Services, and the University of Minnesota Hospital, Fairview. Dr. Hoistad is also involved with Shoreview Family Psychologists and Minnesota Valley Psychologists.
He received a B.A. in Psychology, with minors in Humanities and Social Sciences from the University of Minnesota, before receiving an M.A. in Developmental Psychology degree in 1974, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology degree in 1975 from the California School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Hoistad is a licensed psychologist in Minnesota and Wisconsin. |
